You are welcome. You are wanted.
Love without limits
SUNDAYS at 8:00 | 9:00 | 11:00
228 W. Edenton Street - Downtown Raleigh
We want you to know you are welcome and wanted here by a God who knows you by name and loves you without limits.
When you are full of questions or full of faith; When you know your purpose or are searching for it; When you are lonely and hurting or feel seen and valued; When you are ready to serve or to be cared for; No matter who you are, where you’re from, or who you love
We are more like the people God is calling us to be with you here.

Our Mission
ESUMC invites all people to know, love, and serve God, each other, and the world. We value being centered, connectional, curious, and compassionate.
Wednesdays at
Edenton Street
Our new Wednesday evening programming is more than another church activity—it's a strategic step toward the spiritually alive and connected community God is calling us to be. From families sharing Angela's famous tacos to the Chancel Choir and Gathering Band sharing meals together before making music to preparing to engage in conversations during our adult studies, our vision is coming to life: lives being transformed and Christ's hope being shared. We hope you’ll join us!
Freedom Ride 2025
August 10-14, 17 members of our ESUMC family joined the St. Francis Springs Prayer Center for its first-ever Freedom Ride, following in the footsteps of Civil Rights heroes as we journeyed to sacred sites including the King Center in Atlanta, Dexter Avenue Baptist Church, and Montgomery's Legacy Museum. This spiritually moving retreat challenged us to reflect deeply on justice, faith, and our call to continue the work of reconciliation.
