is a week long Christian day camp sponsored by ESUMC at
Umstead State Park
located in Raleigh, NC. Our goal is to provide the children of ESUMC and our community with a week of challenging experiences, enriching activities, and positive role models. Camp Shalom combines fun, learning, worship, and play in a celebration of God's creation.
Crafts - Music - Games - Swimming - Group Time
Drop off (7:30 to 8:00 a.m.) and pick up (5:00 p.m.) are at Highland United Methodist Church - 1901 Ridge Road. On Friday the campers stay at the park and the parents are invited to a closing program that begins at 6:00 p.m. FUN!!!!!!!!!!!

YOUTH Training:
--Sunday, June 6, 12:15 – 2:30 – this session is a must for all new yellow shirts—rising 9th graders and new adults. All yellow shirts are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Meeting in Chapel Annex.
--Sunday, June 13, commissioning at the 10:55 worship service (get your t-shirt in the narthex)
--Sunday, June 13, 12:15 – 5:00 - ALL yellow shirts—youth and adults—are going out to the camp site. After the 10:55 am service, we will meet in Cobb Hall, pack the yellow bus, and head out to Camp Lapihio. We will eat lunch at the church before we go. Arrival at camp by 1:15 pm. This is a critical session. Please let Ruthie or Pete know if you can not attend!
