Keeping a facility as large as ESUMC up and running takes the work of many talented people. Hundreds of person-hours are put in each week to ensure that the building continues to be maintained at its current high status. Cleaning, setting up for special events, resetting the church after services, and many small “fix-it” jobs to name a few.  The staff truly demonstrates a “whatever it takes” attitude ensuring that the ministries of the church are never held back by the resources we can provide.

The Jones Street Facility building is now open! The gymnasium looks great! Freshly painted lines for basketball and full-court volleyball and a feeling of anticipation are all experienced upon entering. The game area with pool, foos ball, and ping-pong tables is ready to be enjoyed by youth and children of all ages. and the classroom space will provide much needed additional meeting space for both new and current programs. Adding such a beautiful new facility has been a dream for many, and we are happy to see it come to fruition.

Of course, maintaining a facility is best done with many sets of eyes. We can each take a role in making sure that things are well maintained by always leaving rooms as they were set and picking up that stray piece of paper on the floor, but also by informing a staff member when something is out of place or needs repair. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!
