Travel size containers of the following: Shampoo, Lotion, Toothbrushes, Tooth Paste, Shaving Cream, Disposable Razors, Baby Powder, Combs, Toenail or Fingernail clippers, Individual Laundry Detergent Packets

Southeastern Jurisdiction Association of Older Adults

August 11-14, 2008

 

Come to LakeJunaluska and enjoy the late summer beauty of the Western North Carolina Mountains and join in fellowship and study with adults from across the Southeastern Jurisdiction.  Choose from a smorgasbord of workshops designed to increase one's spiritual growth and knowledge in one's daily living; participate in worship led by Reverend Dr. Tommy Gray, senior pastor of ClearBranch UM Church in Argo, Alabama; plenary sessions with Bible study author, Dr. James Mickey Efird, Professor Emeritus, Duke University Divinity School; and author, Dr. Karen Scheib, Associate Professor of Pastoral Care and Counseling at Candler School of Theology, Emory University. Make new friends and renew old friendships! 

 

Worship services will be led in music by the Lake Junaluska Singers. A special concert is scheduled on Wednesday night, August 13, 2008 by Paul Siak.  Back by popular demand is Nina Reeves leading line-dancing.  This is a conference you will not want to miss.
