Today's Prayers

Edenton Street United Methodist Church is a praying congregation.  Please pray for the following throughout the day: 

1)  Pray for the Newmiller family regarding their 5 year old daughter Ella, who has been diagnosed with a terminal tumor on her brain stem.  Pray for 100% miraculous healing of sweet Ella and for guidance regarding the decisions ahead for the parents and doctors.

2) Pray for Rev. Ned F. Hill, II and his wife, Rochelle as they transition into Rev. Hill's new role as senior pastor of ESUMC.

3) Pray for Dr. Roger Elliott and his family as they transition into Dr. Elliott's retirement.

4)  Pray God will light the path of our 2008 church leaders.

5)  Pray for our shut-ins.

6)  Pray for Jodi Pope, the new Youth Minister, and the youth and children of our church.

7)  Pray for marriages.

8)  Pray for our nation during this election year.

9)  Pray for Leigh Holloway, the new Director of Christian Education, and the Search Committees as they seek God's guidance on selecting her replacement in the Children's Program Ministry.
