Wiggler Worship
At ages four and five, children are getting close to being able to participate in the entire worship hour. After two hymns and the Children's Sermon, the four and five year olds have the opportunity to leave "big church" and participate in Wiggler Worship that begins in the chapel.
Parent volunteers lead the children in a time of music and worship, a Bible story, and prayer. Then they all travel down the hall to Room 206 in the nursery area for a coloring activity and free play time.
Wiggler Worship is offered at both traditional services: 8:40 and 10:55 a.m.
This ministry gives:
- Young children (whose "sitting still" capability is limited!) the opportunity to experience worship with their parents for the majority of the service and then leave for worship at their own level of understanding.
- Parents of young children the opportunity to worship with their children, yet not worry about keeping them occupied during the sermon portion of the service.
