Edenton Street United Methodist Church is located in downtown Raleigh, one block west of the State Capitol building on Edenton Street.

This map displays church parking areas available during the weekday and weekend, along with designated Handicap parking.

The main parking area is located behind and on the McDowell St. side of the church.

On Sundays, the first row of spaces in the parking lot located on
Dawson and W. Edenton St. is reserved for Handicap and Older Adult parking.

Additional parking spaces are available on Sunday mornings on the block with the Clarion hotel parking ramp and unpaved lot (Dawson and Edenton St.)

New Sunday Traffic Flow   February 21, 2010

The traffic flow for the parking lot will change Sunday mornings.  The lot behind the sanctuary and Cobb Hall will be "One Way." Cars will only be able to enter from Dawson St.-They will not be able to exit.  All cars must exit on McDowell St.  This will help with the safety of walkers and drivers by decreasing congestion.  We realize those typically exiting on Dawson Street will have to drive around the block to head south.  We appreciate everyone's assistance with this change as we all get accustomed to it.

***Ten additional Sunday morning handicap parking spaces have been added where the minibus is parked and in the parking lot accross Dawson near the crosswalk at the sanctuary entrance.  The Parking Committee
