Sundays:

Disciple Fast Track Bible Study!  Sundays 4-5:45pm Sept. 17th-Dec. 10th

A great foundational study that gives busy people the opportunity to read and study the whole Bible in manageable weekly readings, engage in powerful video lectures, yet still have space to ask questions about the Christian faith, the Scriptures, and how to grow as a Disciple.  For more information, contact lholloway@esumc.org

Women’s Study on Beth Moore’s Psalms of Ascent    Sunday 6-7:45pm Sept. 17th – Nov. 5th

Join our Beth Moore Women’s study “Stepping Up: A Journey through the Psalms of Assent”.  Learn the pilgrimage theme found in Psalms, explore the Feasts of Israel. For Ancient Israelites, pilgrimage was a three-times-per-year journey to the Temple; for New Testament believers, life becomes a journey toward the NEW Jerusalem.  Contact lholloway@esumc.org .

 Tuesdays:

The Book of Psalms  – Tuesday 9:15-10:45  Beginning Sept 19

is the most often read book in the Old Testament.  Jesus and the apostles recognized the power of the psalms in our lives, referring to them more than any other book of scripture.  Please join us on Tuesday mornings, 9:15-10:45, room 169, as we begin the study of the book of Psalms.  Discover how they teach us how to live, as well as how to praise God and relate to him in every circumstance of life.  We will begin on September 19.

The Apocrypha of the Bible   Tuesday 10-11:30am September 12th-November 7th

Join Bill Weisser’s study “The Apocrypha of the Bible”-Texts that expand our knowledge of the Jewish matrix into which Jesus is born and the Christian movement took shape.   Taught from The Immersion Bible series, it is rooted in Scripture and helps explore the spiritual and intellectual needs of faith.  Tuesdays 10-11:30 September 12th-November 7thLholloway@esumc.org
