Bible Studies

Upcoming Studies:

Sundays:

Martha Tyson and Beth Norris will be leading a study for women during Lent based on the book of Philippians and using  “Because of This I Rejoice” by Max Vincent as the study guide.  This 6 week study explores what Paul teaches about joyfully practicing spiritual disciplines and will be held on Sunday nights from 6;00 – 7:30 pm in room 164 beginning on Sunday, March 1. (Dates for the study, March 1, 8, 15, 22, 29 and April 5).

Books will be available on the first night of the study for $10.  This will be a great opportunity to join other women in the church in intentional study during the six weeks of Lent. Click here to register . If you have questions or need additional information, Leslie Coman (lcoman@nc.rr.com).

Embodiment – Edwards

Beginning January 9

Have you ever wondered how to live fully as a Christian in your physical body? What does scripture have to teach us about our relationships with our bodies and embodied faith? Join us for a seven week study where we will welcome a content expert from our community to teach on a topic and lead us in a multi-generational round table discussion. We will explore how topics like embodied living, health and nutrition, movement and rest, sexuality and water are intended to be enriched by and integrated with our faith in Christ. Woven into our discussions, we will examine the centrality of Jesus’ embodiment as it relates to our whole self, body and spirit.  Register Here!
