Sunday School is back from summer programming!
Age 3-5 (By August 31st) each Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45 We use the Think Orange curriculum that combines the critical influences of church and home to incite wonder, provoke discovery and fuel passion in the hearts of the next generation.
Kindergarten – 5th Grade+* each Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45 Committed volunteers teach the 252 Basics curriculum which is based on three truths; I need to make the wise choice; I can trust God no matter what; and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
++Word for 3rd Class – each Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45 The third graders will have their own “through the Bible” curriculum in Sunday School. This class will not be a part of Think Orange curriculum.
*5th Grade Sunday School – each Sunday morning from 9:45-10:45 – This class meets in “The Penthouse” on the 3rd floor (room 300). This special class is led by Monte Montgomery and Brian Kirkpatrick and a host of other adult helpers. Think Orange curriculum and Scripture (and many special effects and costumes) are used as tweens are challenged weekly to focus on building self-confidence based in a trust of God, understanding core values, and active participation. As these young people make the transition from elementary school in the fall to youth group in the summer, they have Godly leaders in this class that they can trust and who care for them. We love that this class is a place where our 5th graders can feel connected and loved and can grow in their faith.
This enables your family to worship together the first part of the service, and then children leave for a time of song, Bible story, activity and play led by dedicated volunteers. It is available during the 8:30 and 10:55 a.m. worship services for children ages 3-5 (by August 31 and fully potty trained.)
