ESUMC for Families

We love watching families grow here at Edenton Street — not just physically, but also spiritually.

We've got something for families of all shapes, sizes, ages, and interests. Here's just a sample of the programs available to you and your family.

"You and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the Lord has blessed you." Deut. 12:7

For the young ones in your family, there's:

  • Sunday morning programs for children from infants through grade 5 (nursery, children's sermon, wiggler worship, Sunday School)
  • A fun, active middle- and high-school youth program that meets Sunday morning and Sunday evening, as well as other times for retreats, missions programs, and lots of other ways to have fun.
  • Summer camp for children and youth (with lots of opportunities for adult volunteers, too!).
  • Vacation Bible School and Music and Arts Camp each summer for young children.
  • Confirmation classes for your 8th graders.
  • Choirs, handbells, and dance groups by age group.

If your family is a little older, you can get involved with:

Are you an empty-nest family or part of the sandwich generation?

  • Check out our E-Streeters program for ages 55+.
  • Join our caregivers support group that meets the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.

If you have questions about getting involved at Edenton Street as a family, please contact Joy Owen, Director of Welcoming Ministries, at 919-832-7535, ext. 350.
