Children's Library

Children's Library
"I love to go to the Children's Library because it has so many fun things."

If you have not visited the Children's Library, you must see this wonderful facility. It is located on the third floor of the Poindexter Building, in room 316-A. It is open whenever the church is open. We have books, DVDs, and videotapes especially for children. These resources are bright, cheerful, and attractive to young children. Every child is sure to find something that will engage and enrich his or her mind.

The mission of the Children's Library is to allow all children to have access to sweet, clean, delightful pieces of literature. You may enjoy these books and videos at home or just while on a visit to the church. With touch-screen access to the catalog and check-out, a child or parent can use this library any time. The computer system is simple to use and will take only moments to learn.

The church librarian, Dorathy Chance, catalogs and prepares books for the children's and main libraries. A volunteer serves in the Children's Library and, in addition to shelving returned resources, helps to choose resources for that library.

For questions about the children's library, please contact Dorathy Chance, Church Librarian, at 919-832-7535, ext. 236.
