Parents trust the church to keep their precious ones safe and to teach them God's word. It is a dual ministry to the children (they are like sponges, eager to learn) and the family (how can I raise a Godly child?).
Baptism welcomes your child into the church family and is the beginning of a lifelong relationship. To get you started, first listen to the three parenting talks:

Don't miss these talks, they are only five minutes each and will inspire you! Now you are ready to sign up for the class, By Water and the Spirit: Infant Baptism. We offer the class every other month. Register below for the class that works best with your schedule. Childcare available with registration.
Register for the March 17, 2012 class 9:00 a.m.- 12:00 noon
Register for the May 20, 2012 class from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Register for the June 23, 2012 class from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Edenton St. UMC has lots to offer as your little one grows. Whether your child is interested in singing or scouts or missions there are tons of ways to plug in! Our brochure gives you a good idea of what's out there waiting for you!
