A Stephen Minister is a lay person who gives Christian care on a one-to-one basis.

 

Christian: Stephen Ministers are Christians who care in the name of Christ.  They are willing to talk about spiritual issues but won't force them. We care. Christ cures.

Care: Stephen Ministers care by listening, supporting and encouraging, praying, being dependable and trustworthy, and maintaining confidentiality in their care giving.

Lay: Stephen Ministers are trained and supervised lay servants, not professional counselors or therapists, pastors or physicians.

One-to-one: Stephen Ministers meet privately with one care receiver of the same gender

Stephen Ministers are the Christian caregivers who are there for you when life-changing situations occur. We are ready to come alongside you or someone you know to provide comfort and support for as long as we are needed. When you need care, please contact Rev.
