Adolescence is a time of passion and a relentless search for meaning. Some have even summarized the primary goal of this stage of life as finding something worth dying for. In light of this, the primary task of the youth ministries of Edenton Street United Methodist Church is to provide students meaningful opportunities to encounter Christ - the One who did love them, even to the point of death.
Leading students into the presence of God is not always an obvious or direct path. Sometimes it's a worshipful retreat, but it often begins with a dinner before youth group, a pick-up game of basketball, or a lock-in. Please look around the site for the ways we're conspiring to invite students into relationship with Christ this year.
