200,000 Service Hours to Celebrate 200 Years

200,000 Service Hours to Celebrate 200 Years

In 2011, ESUMC will celebrate its 200th anniversary. As part of our celebration, we are challenging our congregation to pledge a total of 200,000 service hours in our community and the world. This effort was kicked off early at the 2010 Great Day of Service on September 25, 2010, and will go through December 2011. We hope to honor those who have come before us, and inspire those who will come after by ministering to a hurting world.

"...let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven." Matthew 5:16

So, whether you're making a meal for a sick neighbor, picking-up trash in your neighborhood , tutoring an at-risk child or going on a mission trip, we want to know how you're serving outside ESUMC's walls.
