Hundreds of thousands of people in Wake County have no health insurance. Several opportunities exist to help the sick and needy in our community. Some of those supported by ESUMC include:
AIDS Care Team
The ESUMC AIDS Care Team serves in conjunction with the Alliance of AIDS Services Carolina to minister to people affected by HIV/AIDS, and raise awareness of this disease. For more information about this powerful, rewarding, Christ-filled ministry, contact Renae Newmiller.
Alliance Medical Ministry
Alliance Medical Ministry is a faith-based medical clinic for the working poor in Wake County. The clinic serves many Hispanic and other minority families and operates on a sliding-fee scale. There are many serving opportunities at Alliance for people with or without medical backgrounds. Click here to learn more.
Urban Ministries Open Door Clinic
