At Edenton Street United Methodist Church, the tradition of symbols contributing to our individual lives and our life together as a community of faith is important to our identity. We at Edenton Street UMC believe that the liturgical arts shared in a Christian environment will lead our congregation and visitors to experience the Holy Spirit through music, dance, drama, visual, and literary arts. The arts help us to know God’s creative spirit and enable us to experience our own creativity.
It is for this reason that a special and newly designed Fine Arts Series has been created for the people of Edenton Street and the greater Raleigh community. We believe that this expansion, including drama, visual, and literary arts, in addition to the performing arts of music dance, will help you in your spiritual journey with God. We hope that you will find variety of venues with something for everyone.
To enable us to share these exciting events with our congregation and the greater Raleigh area, we ask you to prayerfully consider your possibility of becoming a Friend of Edenton Street’s Fine Arts Series. This series is made possible solely through your generous support. Your generous gift will enable us to present these series of fine arts events at minimal cost, sometimes free of charge as Edenton Street continues in its mission of Sharing Christ from the Heart of Raleigh.
