The Early Childhood Program at Edenton Street United Methodist Church is an outreach ministry, which is designed to meet the needs of parents and their young children, ages two months to five years.
Our loving staff is here to provide guidance, which will enhance physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual growth in a safe environment. This program runs from September to May, and typically follows the Wake Co. Public School System traditional calendar.
We pride ourselves in being a social and emotional based preschool. We feel very strongly that these skills not only prepare the children for Kindergarten but for life in general as well. We do discuss academics every day; however it is always in a very relaxed atmosphere where the children feel safe and loved. A true "love for coming to school" is our first and foremost goal.
We have started our registration for the 2012-2013 school year. Please find all three registration forms below for your review. All forms are due by Friday, February 3rd to receive priority status or be included in our random selection process. Please call us with questions or to arrange a private tour. We currently have one Tuesday/Thursday two year old opening and one Tuesday/Thursday three year old opening. Please call or email if you woudl like to discuss either of these spaces.
All of our classrooms follow a cut off date of August 31. Therefore in our toddler class all children need to be 1 year old but not two by August 31(of the year in which applying). All children applying for the two year old class need to be two by August 31 but not 3 and so on.
