The Gathering

The Gathering is a beautiful, welcoming community celebrating worship in a contemporary style on the ESUMC Original Campus. From our transforming encounters with Christ in worship and small groups, we live as a community who is sent to transform the world by faithfully serving God and radically loving our neighbors in our local Raleigh neighborhoods and beyond.

At Edenton Street we also offer two traditional worship services and a Sunday service at our other campus, Church on Morgan.

Choose a service: 9:30, 11:00 AM

Original Campus (228 West Edenton Street), Kerr Hall

Members of our hospitality team will greet you upon arrival on Sunday and guide you to Kerr Hall.

Sunday school goes from 9:45 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Children are welcome to join the classroom according to their age. Click on the kids page for more information.  Parents are welcome to join each other for coffee and fellowship in the common areas.

*If you attend the 9:30 Gathering worship service, we have a dedicated group of volunteers that will guide your children up to their classroom during the “Meet & Greet” time of the service each week.

Wiggler Worship is available during the 11 a.m. worship service for children ages 3, 4 and 5 (by August 31 and fully potty trained). Children will experience the first part of worship with his/her family then be taken to Wiggler Worship in room 206 for a time of singing, Bible Story, coloring activity and play led by dedicated parent volunteers and nursery caregivers .
