Join us for Homecoming!

For 215 years, Edenton Street United Methodist Church has been a place where lives have been changed, friendships have been formed, and God has faithfully worked through ordinary people. This Homecoming, we're celebrating that story and looking ahead to the next chapter.

Whether you've been here for decades, joined us recently, or are visiting for the first time, you're invited to gather with us for a day of worship, food, fun, and connection. We hope you'll come home to eStreet and invite someone to experience it with you.

What to Expect

  • Cookout meal with tables and chairs under a tent to sit and enjoy time together!

  • Live music

  • Games for all ages

  • Photo booth

  • Ice cream truck

  • Dunking booth (yes—even Pastor Kevin!)

  • Connection tables to learn more about ministry opportunities

  • Raffle benefiting our Doorstep Ministry

  • Dawson Street Project discernment display

  • Air-conditioned space will be available in the Bulla Youth Center

Each one, bring one

Homecoming is more than a celebration of our past—it's an opportunity to welcome someone into our future.

We invite every member and friend of ESUMC to personally invite one person or family to join you for Homecoming. A neighbor. A coworker. A friend. Someone who used to attend. Someone who's never been to church before.

Invitation cards are available now through August 30 at the Front Desk and Connect Tables in the Garden Gallery and outside Kerr Hall.

One invitation could make all the difference.

Where do I park?

Our usual designated lot for parking on Sunday mornings will be occupied with our festivities! Instead, we invited you to park in the parking deck across McDowell Street. We ask that the main church parking lot as well as the Bulla Youth Center parking lot be reserved for handicap parking on this day. If you have any questions or concerns about parking, please reach out to the church office.
