Empowering orphans: Meet MUSU

By the time Musu was five, both of her parents had died, leaving her and her siblings to rely on the support of others. Education was a luxury they could not afford, meals were scarce, and poverty left them with few opportunities to change their circumstances.

Then Musu joined a Zoe Empowers empowerment group sponsored by our church. She learned to dream about a better future and received training in business, health, and financial management. With a grant to buy and resell fish, Musu began earning her own income, paying for food, medical care, rent, and her sister’s school fees.

Today, Musu earns steady income, supports her siblings, and has laid the groundwork for a future full of hope and promise.

From loss and suffering to hope and opportunity, Musu’s journey shows how our support can transform a life.
